The polygonal shaped body with openwork rim and colourless glass liner. The domed lid of the same shape with white bone knob to the top. This fine Art Déco butter dish is in fine condition without inscriptions, monograms or removals and shows only a small chip to the edge of the glass liner which is only visible when detaching the liner.
A fine and impressive butter dish of plain geometrical elegance by one of the leading Sheffield silversmiths of the Art Déco era.
