A Georg Jensen 830 grade silver sugar tong in “Beaded” pattern, in Denmark also known as “Kugle”, designed by Georg Jensen, 1916. Executed by Georg Jensen silversmithy in 1930. A very rare item and in exceptional presentation condition. The item shows no personal inscription or monogram and has been professionally polished.
This fine pair of sugar tongs is a rare example in this pattern and condition and as from the early era of this design of additional rarity. The beaded rim as well as the hammered surface is still in very good condition and not overpolished.
