A rare pair of large sterling silver Asparagus or Sandwich tongs in King´s Pattern London 1874

The elongated blades of the tongs showing a pierced and engraved decoration with tendrils and leaves. The tapering handle is embellished with an applied classicistic motif, reflecting the classic King’s Pattern design. The handle embellished with a family crest and Motto “I dare”.
A very rare pair of asparagus tongs in a seldom design and in good size.
