A Victorian sterling silver coffee and tea service

A Victorian sterling silver coffee and tea service
London 1880 by Edward Hutton

The octagonal plain bodies with geometrical engraving to all sides. The plain angular handles terminating into leaf shaped sockets, the handles of the tea and coffee pot with heat stoppers. The lids fitted with flush hinges and with dark wooden knobs to the tea and the coffee pot.
A exceptional Victorian coffe and tea service whose decoration and shape anticipates the Art Déco style. The fine engraving of the plain shaped bodies as well as the flush hinges emphasize the fine quality of this service.
