Heavy, large bowl of modern elegance.

Lasse Bæhring is one of Denmark’s best and most capable contemporary artist silversmiths and designers. He worked for the Georg Jensen silversmithy in Copenhagen for several years before he decided to become self-employed. His œuvre has won numerous prizes and awards, some of his works form part of important museum´s collections such as the Koldinghus Museum (Kolding), the Danish Design Museum (Copenhagen) and the Victoria & Albert Museum (London), as well as of important private collections such as the private collections of Queen Margarethe II of Denmark and of the Mærsk enterprise group. Bæhring’s works reveal reminiscences of Henning Koppel’s formal language, without imitating but translating it into a completely new artistic dimension and the formal language of the 21st century. Lasse Bæhring’s extraordinary qualities as a designer were also discovered by the german silversmithy Robbe & Berking, which commissioned him with the design of the “Penguin” jugs.
