A rare 830 grade silver sugar tong
in “Butterfly” pattern Copenhagen 1918
The front side and the rounded end with a subtle martelé, the spreading stem adorned with a butterfly, the tips terminating into bird claws.
Rare sugar tong in “Butterfly” decoration in excellent condition. The “Butterfly” cutlery was produced in small quantities only, also by Frigast and is today one of the most sought-after cutlery of the Art Nouveau period. The hammered surface as well as the butterfly pattern are in excellent condition and not blind polished in any way. Without monogram.
