Brunswick 1820-34 by Johann Friedrich Boden

A 12 Lot silver basting spoon in so called “Spaten” pattern (the german equivalent of the british “fiddle pattern), with contemporary monogram “WG” to the back. Very good condition without damages, the tip of the bowl not rubbed.

29.8 cm / 11.7″ length; 110.8 g / 3.56 oz

Hallmarked with town mark and assayer´s letter “A” for the period 1818 to 1834. Johann Friedrich Boden can be traced as a goldsmith from 1820 to 1848.
