A 13 Lot silver bullet teapot,
Augsburg 1775-77 by Johann Christian Neuss

The teapot standing on a smooth base with a ribbed and spirally twisted body. On top the smooth lid with a branch as a lid knob which shows fruit and leaf decoration. The front with a cranked spout, the wooden handle on the back probably made of ebonised boxwood.
Elegant small Augsburg silver teapot of the Rokoko in very beautiful, authentic condition.

The silversmith Johann Christian Neuss (also known as “Neuß”) became master in 1766.
