Two rare beakers joined together to form a barrel, realistically coopeerd and banded. Gilt inside and out.
A museum-quality barrel beaker in excellent condition with no repairs and with original surface.

Hallmarked with the hallmark for Augsburg 1651-54 (Seling no. 0590) and the maker’s mark of silversmith Esaias Busch (Seling no. 1457). Esaias Busch was one of the most important silversmiths of the time. He became free in 1652 and died in 1679.
