An Art Déco sterling silver bowl
A rare Art Déco sterling silver bowl
Sheffield 1936 by Cooper Brothers & Sons
This exceptional and impressive antique Art Déco sterling silver bowl has a plain circular rounded form onto a cylindrical baluster and a circular spreading base. The surface of this Cooper Brothers and Sons silver bowl is plain and unembellished, apart from a band of engraved lines to the rim and to the base. This antique bowl is an exceptional gauge of silver (the bowl is not loaded!), exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Noteworthy also the modern simplicity of this bowl which could be supposed to be an item of nowadays.
The presentation piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the upper rim are all clear.
