Entirely wrought surface, the polished bowl passing into the hollow stem which terminates into the spreading, coral-like shaped end wich shows a satin finish.
A masterfully accomplished ladle of breathtaking grace and elegance. A unique item from one of Britain´s leading silversmiths which fully can be used as a ladle but furthermore has a highly decorative, near sculptural nature.

The artist silversmith and designer Rauni Higson

Regarded as one of Britain’s leading silversmiths, Rauni Higson is known for distinctive sculptural tableware, largely working to commission, including six pieces housed in the Goldsmiths’ Company Collection. Recent commissions include the National Museum of Wales, the Worshipful Company of Clothworkers, the Worshipful Company of Weavers and the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries. She was Chair of Contemporary British Silversmiths from 2014 to 2017.
