An outstanding modern Britannia silver “Corner Bowl”,
London 2019 by Rauni Higson
Matt brushed surface with a high gloss diamond edge, discreetly undulating over the entire surface. Contrary to the curve of the front edge a ridge with a coarsely hammered edge which breaks through the surface to its edge area into the underside and thus forms the stabilizing base for the construction.
Again a further example of the highly creative inventiveness of this great silversmith – a wonderful bowl of great originality and extraordinary in its refined design.
