An Arts & Crafts sterling silver tray,
Birmingham 1920 by Liberty & Co.
Elongated, square basic form, the narrow sides discreetly rounded convex and decorated in the middle with turquoise cabochons. The smooth mirror slightly deepened.
Decorative and sober work of modern looking elegance. The design is clearly related to the silver objects by Archibald Knox.
