Decorative and sober work of modern looking elegance. The design is clearly related to the silver objects by Archibald Knox. An identical tray by Liberty & Co. is illustrated in:
Duncker, Veena/Reinhard W. Sänger/Mienke Simon Thomas et al. (2003): A Personal Touch: Late 19th and 20th Century Silver from the Seawolf Collection, 01. Ed., Rotterdam, Netherlands: NAi Publishers & Museum Boijmans. P. 84.
