A sterling silver serving fork in “Ornamental” pattern #71,
Copenhagen 1915-27 by Georg Jensen
A rare serving fork in “Ornamental” pattern (in Denmark also known as “Pyntebestik“) #71, designed by Georg Jensen. Executed by Georg Jensen Silversmithy between 1915 and 1927.
Excellent, fine polished condition with only slight signs of wear. The hammered surface very well preserved and not excessively polished – the old, handmade Copenhagen quality.
The “Ornamental” pattern belongs to the flatware designed by Georg Jensen himself during his time as an aspiring silversmith around 1910.
