A George III sterling silver letter opener,
London 1806 by William Eley I & William Fearn

Of conventional form, the lower end of the handle ending in two bows. Rare object from the early 19th century in immaculate condition.

Outstandingly preserved and large Queen Anne tazza made of Britannia silver (which corresponds to a silver content of 958/1000 and thus has a higher fineness than sterling silver) without repairs, with original preserved surface.
