An outstanding modern Britannia silver Ice Floe vase

An outstanding modern Britannia silver Ice Floe Vase
London 2015 by Rauni Higson

The asymmetric, subtly curved body narrowing to the rim and showing a folding appearing in outlines to the front. The back with a coral-shaped ornament which unfolds to the top. The surface fully matted and evoking a hoarfrost-like impression opposing to the polished edges. An outstanding fine, impressive and masterfully accomplished vase from one of Britain´s leading silversmiths with a highly decorative, near sculptural nature. Noteworthy also the the excellent technical realisation which reflects in the pleasant feel of the surface.
